At MD2 Madison Avenue, you'll be cared for by Dr. Howard Rosenberg, who is an exemplary internist and infectious disease specialist, and Dr. Erica Jones, whose expertise lie in all aspects of internal medicine and cardiovascular care. Both physicians are affiliated with NewYork Presbyterian Hospital and Weill Cornell Medical Center and have long-standing ties with the top specialists and other medical institutions in the area.
Dr. Erica Jones
Dr. Erica Jones, a sought-after New York City cardiologist and internist for over 20 years, is renowned for her outstanding compassion in the delivery of care. Throughout her career she has received multiple awards, including “Top Doctor: New York Metro Area” by Castle Connolly since 2015.
She earned her B.A. from Northwestern University and her medical degree from New York Medical College, where she graduated with multiple honors and merits, including induction into the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. Dr. Jones trained in internal medicine and cardiology at NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center, after which she joined the full-time staff as an Attending Cardiologist and rose through the academic ranks to Associate Professor of Clinical Medicine.
Dr. Jones’ expertise lies in all aspects of internal medicine and cardiovascular care and she is highly regarded for her commitment to clinical research projects related to the prevention of cardiovascular disease. She is board-certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiology, a Diplomat of the American Board of Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Disease and a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology.
Throughout her career, Dr. Jones has been a leader in Weill Cornell’s clinical and educational efforts, serving as Director of the Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship Program, the Inpatient Telemetry Unit and HeartHealth, the Cardiovascular Prevention Program of the Dalio Institute of Cardiovascular Imaging.
Dr. Howard Rosenberg
Dr. Howard Rosenberg, a board-certified internist and infectious disease specialist, is admired for his diagnostic acumen, attention to detail and empathic, thoughtful approach to patient care. Regarded by his peers as an exceptional physician, he is a “doctor’s doctor,” having cared for many colleagues and their families for over two decades. In recognition of his clinical excellence, Dr. Rosenberg was elected a Fellow of the American College of Physicians and has been a Castle Connolly “Regional Top Doctor” since 2013.
He received his B.A. from Williams College and his medical degree from State University of New York Downstate Medical Center, graduating magna cum laude. While in medical school, he was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. He trained in internal medicine and infectious diseases at NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center and was Chief Medical Resident at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center.
Dr. Rosenberg is an Attending Physician and Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center. In addition, he is a Consultant in Infectious Diseases at Hospital for Special Surgery (HSS) and since 2009, the Medical Director at The Juilliard School. For over a decade he also served as a team physician with the New York Mets until resigning in 2022.
