Dr. Steven Fugaro
Dr. Fugaro is a prominent and well-respected physician in the San Francisco Bay area, where he has cared for many of the community’s most influential members. His professionalism, consultative expertise and affable personality have helped him earn the designation as one of the “Best Doctors in America” by Woodward & White repeatedly since 1997, and as a “Top Doctor” by San Francisco Magazine.
Dr. Steven Fugaro received his B.S. with Honors from Stanford University, and his medical degree from Yale University where he was awarded membership in the eminent honor medical society, Alpha Omega Alpha. He then completed his internship and residency at University of California, San Francisco (UCSF)-Moffitt Hospitals, and became Chief Resident at the UCSF--Veterans Administration Medical Center. Prior to establishing his private practice in 1993, Dr. Fugaro held various administrative posts at UCSF—Moffitt Hospitals, including Medical Director, Executive Registry; Director, Medical Consultation Service; and Assistant Director, Hospitalist Service. Dr. Fugaro continues to be affiliated with both the University of California, San Francisco, as well as California Pacific Medical Center.
Dr. Fugaro is a member of the San Francisco Marin Medical Society and was the President in 2008. He remains active in the Medical Society and one of his major activities is his volunteer service as the Chairman of the Board of the San Francisco Health Plan, which oversees all MediCal activity in San Francisco.
Dr. Robert Margolin
Dr. Margolin is a distinguished San Francisco physician who is renowned for his superior clinical skills, reassuring bedside manner, and exceptional leadership.
Dr. Margolin graduated cum laude in Applied Mathematics from Harvard University, and went on to earn his medical degree from Tufts University. He completed both his internship and residency at University of California, San Francisco (UCSF)—Mount Zion Hospital. Uniquely boarded in both Internal Medicine and Geriatrics, Dr. Margolin has held a number of prestigious posts across several organizations. He was the President of the San Francisco Medical Society in 1998 and has been Associate Clinical Professor at UCSF since 1993, the Chair of the Division of Internal Medicine at California Pacific Medical Center (CPMC) since 2004; and a member of the Board of Trustees at the California Medical Association since 2003. In addition to his active involvement in the medical community, he has spent the last two decades running his private practice and teaching in various capacities at Moffitt, UC- Mt. Zion, and CPMC hospitals.
With numerous teaching awards from USCF Medical School, UC-Mount Zion Hospital and CPMC to his credit, and his current role as President of the Tiburon Peninsula Little League, Dr. Margolin has found great satisfaction in caring for and mentoring people of all ages.
