Dr. Anthony Casolaro
Dr. Anthony Casolaro has been a prominent and highly-respected physician in the D.C. area for over 30 years, where he has cared for many of the community’s most influential members. His professionalism, superior diagnostic skills and affable personality have helped him earn the designation of being named a “Top Physician” by Washingtonian Magazine, Northern Virginia Magazine, Washington Post Magazine and Superdocs.
After graduating with honors from the University of Virginia, Dr. Casolaro completed his medical degree with honors at Georgetown University’s School of Medicine. After completing his internal medicine residency at Emory University, he received a National Research Service award with a pulmonary fellowship at the National Institute of Health where he subsequently became the Clinical Chief.
In addition to having been the Chief of Staff at Virginia Hospital Center and an Associate Professor of Medicine at Georgetown University’s School of Medicine, Dr. Casolaro has taken on several community positions over the years. He was on the Board of the Arlington Free Clinic, served as a consulting physician for the White House Medical Unit and remains the Head Team Physician for the Washington Redskins. Dr. Casolaro is dual board certified in Internal Medicine and Pulmonary Medicine and is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians.
Dr. Suzanne Wittig
Dr. Suzanne Wittig, a sought-after D.C. area physician for over 20 years, is perhaps best known for her superior clinical skills, consultative expertise, and exceptional leadership - a rare combination for which she has long been recognized and celebrated by her peers and patients alike. She has been named a “Top Doctor” by Washingtonian Magazine and Northern Virginia Magazine since 2005 and 2011 respectively.
After receiving her undergraduate degree from Georgetown University, Dr. Wittig went on to earn her medical degree from Georgetown University’s School of Medicine, graduating with multiple honors and merits. Dr. Wittig completed her residency and chief residency in Internal Medicine at Georgetown University.
Prior to joining MD2, Dr. Wittig was a partner and internist at Pulmonary and Medical Associates, where she also served as the Chief of their Internal Medicine Division. In addition, she served on several committees at Privia Health and Virginia Hospital Center. In 2005, Dr. Wittig was one of the select few physicians chosen for Virginia Hospital Center’s Executive Health Program, where she saw patients for over a decade. Dr. Wittig is board certified in Internal Medicine.
