Dr. Suzanne Wittig, a sought-after D.C. area physician for over 20 years, is perhaps best known for her superior clinical skills, consultative expertise, and exceptional leadership- a rare combination for which she has long been recognized and celebrated by her peers and patients alike. She has been named a “Top Doctor” by Washingtonian Magazine and Northern Virginia Magazine for the last 20 years.
After receiving her undergraduate degree from Georgetown University, Dr. Wittig went on to earn her medical degree from Georgetown University’s School of Medicine, graduating with multiple honors and merits. Dr. Wittig completed her residency and chief residency in Internal Medicine at Georgetown University. She continues to teach physical diagnosis to medical students at the Georgetown University School of Medicine.
Prior to joining MD², Dr. Wittig was a partner and internist at Pulmonary and Medical Associates, where she also served as the Chief of their Internal Medicine Division. In addition, she served on several committees at Privia Health and Virginia Hospital Center. In 2005, Dr. Wittig was one of the select few physicians chosen for Virginia Hospital Center’s Executive Health Program, where she saw patients for over a decade. Dr. Wittig is board certified in Internal Medicine and is a member of the American College of Physicians.
Outside of medicine, she enjoys spending time with family, especially her husband and two daughters with whom she often creates new memories through travel. She finds joy in playing golf, reading, and taking long walks.
