Dr. Allison Spatz
Dr. Allison Spatz, a highly sought-after cardiologist and internist for over 20 years, strives to care for her patients as she would for her own family. She has earned a superlative reputation for her unwavering commitment to delivering compassionate, personalized care. She has consecutively been recognized as a Top Doctor by New York Magazine for years and has been awarded the Exceptional Women in Medicine distinction for over a decade.
She graduated Phi Beta Kappa with her Bachelor of Arts degree from Lehigh University. She earned her Doctorate of Medicine from Mt Sinai School of Medicine in New York, where she graduated with multiple honors and merits. After completing a residency in internal medicine and serving as assistant chief resident, she went on to complete her fellowship in cardiovascular medicine at The New York Presbyterian-Cornell Weill Medical Center.
Following her fellowship, Dr. Spatz served as the Director of the Coronary Care Unit at North Shore University Hospital. She also volunteered for the American Heart Association campaign to help educate, diagnose and treat heart disease in women. Later, she became an attending physician and clinical instructor at New York Presbyterian Hospital-Weill Cornell Medical Center.
Most recently, she served as president and managing partner of New York Cardiology Associates, a position she held for nearly twenty years while maintaining her clinical and academic titles at New York Presbyterian Hospital-Weill Cornell Medical Center. Her clinical interests and expertise predominantly include preventative cardiovascular health and coronary artery and valvular disease assessment. The connecting thread throughout her career has been her devotion to comprehensive patient care in internal medicine and non-invasive cardiology. Dr. Spatz is board certified in internal medicine and cardiovascular disease and is a fellow of The American College of Cardiology.
She currently lives in New York City with her husband and enjoys kayaking, running, and cooking.
Dr. Eric Goldberg
Dr. Eric Goldberg has been a prominent physician in New York City for over 20 years. He is perhaps best known for his medical leadership, clinical innovation, and devotion to teaching and mentoring, for which he has been repeatedly recognized as a Top Doctor by New York Magazine and Castle Connolly.
He graduated summa cum laude with his Bachelor of Science degree from Case Western Reserve University. He earned a Doctorate of Medicine from Albert Einstein College of Medicine, graduating with distinction in cardiovascular research. His post-doctoral training in primary care internal medicine was completed at NYU Langone Health, where he rose to the rank of Chief Resident.
For the entirety of his career, he has devoted himself to his patients as an internist and to the next generation of physicians through his long-standing academic appointments at NYU Grossman School of Medicine and his mentorship to medical students, residents, and junior faculty at NYU Langone Health. Over his 20-plus years at NYU Langone Health, he has led and supported multiple committees and task forces, most recently coordinating the Pandemic testing and treatment programs, moving the medical practices to a new location, and developing a resident clinic within the practice.
In addition to his patient care responsibilities, Dr. Goldberg is asked to lecture frequently nationally. He has also been committed to both NYU Langone Health and his medical community, serving as the Senior Medical Director of the Department of Medicine at NYU Langone Internal Medicine Associates and the Section Chief of the Division of General Medicine and Clinical Innovation. He also served on the Executive Committee of the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation of America for many years. He is board certified in internal medicine and is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians. He is an avid runner and tennis player.
