Dr. William N. Duffy
Dr. William N. Duffy is a distinguished internal medicine physician and leader who has been practicing in the Philadelphia area for over 30 years. Renowned for his comprehensive approach to patient care, Dr. Duffy serves as both a physician and a lifestyle advocate, guiding his patients towards healthier living through comprehensive lifestyle and nutritional advice. His dedication to his patients and to the field has earned him recognition as a Castle Connolly Top Doctor for over a decade as well as numerous Top Docs designations in Philadelphia Magazine.
He earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Seton Hall University, graduating magna cum laude from Seton Hall University with honors. From there he earned his degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine and returned home to the Philadelphia area to complete his residency in Internal Medicine at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. Dr. Duffy is board-certified in Internal Medicine and is also a certified personal trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine.
Upon completion of his residency, Dr. Duffy started practicing within the Jefferson Health System and maintained his academic responsibilities teaching both students and residents in the hospital and his office. In 2001, he was honored as a teaching attending of the year by the Internal Medicine residency program at Thomas Jefferson University.
In 2002 he took the opportunity to work in the University of Pennsylvania Health System and has been there over 20 years. After changing to Penn Medicine, Dr. Duffy maintained his teaching and is an associate professor of clinical medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine. In 2016, he was selected to be one of only 7 physicians in Penn Medicine to be part of Penn Personalized Care (a type of concierge program).
He is an active member of several professional and scientific societies, including the American College of Lifestyle Medicine and the American College of Physicians. Additionally, he contributes to the Culinary Medicine Leadership Board at the Perelman School of Medicine.
Dr. Duffy has held significant teaching and clinical responsibilities, including serving as a past team physician for the Philadelphia Flyers and the Philadelphia Eagles. He is a co-founder and educator in Culinary Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine and has been a consultant to multiple educational courses for medical students, colleagues and public alike.
With a keen interest in lifestyle medicine, Dr. Duffy focuses on the concept of food as medicine and has delivered numerous talks on plant-based nutrition and culinary medicine. He is passionate about the importance of lifestyle modification in both the prevention and treatment of disease, considering each patient's unique environment and personal circumstances. Dr. Duffy's comprehensive approach to patient care includes discussions on nutrition, exercise, stress management, family support systems, and overall well-being. He strives to collaborate with his patients to help them achieve their best health outcomes.

Dr. Antonette Brigidi
Dr. Antonette Brigidi is a highly respected board-certified internal medicine physician known for her compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care. Dr. Brigidi maintains the early commitments that earned her superlative reputation- partnering with patients to improve wellbeing, and unwavering advocacy. Raised in a multigenerational Italian American household outside Philadelphia, she developed a deep appreciation for long-term therapeutic relationships with patients and families. She finds the most fulfillment in fostering therapeutic bonds that enable each patient to enjoy their uniquely rich and meaningful lives. Dr. Brigidi accomplishes this through an emphasis on health and wellbeing, seamlessly folding in multi-specialty care and therapeutic lifestyle interventions. It is the highest compliment for patients to ask her to care for others whom they hold dear.
Dr. Brigidi earned her undergraduate degree in chemistry with Honors from The Johns Hopkins University, then her doctorate in Medicine at the University of Maryland School of Medicine. She completed her postdoctoral Internship and Primary Care Residency in Internal Medicine at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia.
After her training, Dr. Brigidi joined a general internal medicine practice at Chester County Hospital but returned to Penn as faculty in 2010, recognizing she craved the collaborative teaching environment for her own continued learning. At Penn, she has seen patients and taught medical, nursing, and pharmacy trainees in numerous internal medicine ambulatory and inpatient sites in West Philadelphia and spent 10 years seeing patients at Penn Medicine at Radnor.
In 2020, Dr. Brigidi was recruited to join Penn Signature Services as Chief Medical Officer, where she saw patients and co-directed Executive Health, the Penn Passport program (a membership travel program), and Penn Global Medicine at the Perelman Center for Advanced Medicine (PCAM). In 2024, as these programs grew and she developed an interest in Lifestyle Medicine, she transitioned to Lead Physician for Penn Executive Health at PCAM, while continuing to see primary care patients. She is passionate about gardening and cooking, inspired by the culinary medicine course she co-directs at the Perelman School of Medicine. Dr. Brigidi holds the unique distinction of being Board Certified in Internal Medicine, a Diplomate of the American Board of Lifestyle Medicine, as well as a Fellow of the American College of Physicians.
