MD2 Chicago concierge medicine in Lakeshore, our second MD2 office in Chicago, opened its doors in the winter of 2018. The office is located in the NBC Tower.
As with all our offices, the two physicians, Dr. Nancy Sassower and Dr. Jefferey Trunsky have superlative reputations. They are renowned by peers and patients alike for their uncompromising commitment to delivering patient-centered care. Both concierge medical physicians are affiliated with Northwestern Memorial Hospital and have long-standing ties with the top specialists and other medical institutions in the area.
Dr. Nancy Sassower
Dr. Nancy Sassower, a sought-after Chicago physician for over 20 years, is perhaps best known for her superior clinical leadership, teaching and mentoring acumen, and affable personality - a rare combination for which she has long been recognized and celebrated by her peers and patients alike.
After receiving her undergraduate degree from Emory University, Dr. Sassower went on to earn her medical degree from University of Missouri School of Medicine, graduating Magna Cum Laude and with multiple merits. While in medical school, she was inducted into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. Dr. Sassower completed her residency in Internal Medicine at McGaw Medical Center of Northwestern University.
Prior to joining MD2, Dr. Sassower was an internist at Northwestern Medical Group, where she also held numerous critical roles including Chief of the Medical Staff at Northwestern Memorial Hospital. In addition, she is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at the Feinberg School of Medicine, a position she has held for over two decades. Dr. Sassower is board certified in Internal Medicine.
Dr. Jefferey Trunsky
Dr. Jefferey Trunsky has been a prominent and highly-respected physician in Chicago for over 25 years. His deep appreciation of the value and importance of individualized, thorough, and patient-centered care, as well as his dedication to teaching have earned him a superlative reputation in the Chicago medical community.
He graduated with distinction from the University of Michigan, then went on to complete his medical degree with honors at Wayne State University School of Medicine, and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. After completing his internal medicine residency at Northwestern Memorial Hospital, he joined the full-time faculty in the department of General Internal Medicine at Northwestern University, where he rose to his current rank of Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine.
Dr. Trunsky, who is board certified in Internal Medicine, has served as an internist at Northwestern Medical Group for over two decades. And, as with Dr. Sassower, will remain an active member of the medical staff. In addition to his direct patient care responsibilities, he also served on numerous committees over the years.
