Both concierge medical physicians are affiliated with Overlake Hospital Medical Center and have long-standing ties with the top specialists and other medical institutions in the area.

Dr. Robert Bjurstrom
Dr. Bjurstrom, a physician distinguished by his certification in three specialties, is perhaps most well-known for his exceptional patient care and consultative expertise. His compassion and affable personality have made him a favorite physician in the Bellevue community for two decades.
Dr. Bjurstrom graduated from the University of Washington School of Medicine, where he completed his training in three specialties: Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Disease, and Critical Care. He was awarded membership in the eminent Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) medical honor society, as well as granted highly regarded Fellowship status in both the American College of Chest Physicians and the Society of Critical Care Medicine. He is uniquely boarded in all three specialties.
In 1986, Dr. Bjurstrom joined Overlake Internal Medical Associates, where he served two consecutive terms as president of its Executive Committee. He continues to be an active member of the Overlake Medical Center, where he served as the Director of Respiratory Medicine until 2000.

Dr. Shawn Lee
Dr. Shawn Lee, an Eastside native, is a board-certified internist who has earned a superlative reputation in the Bellevue medical community for his diagnostic acumen, compassionate approach to patient care and dedication to teaching and mentoring. Throughout his career he has received multiple awards and accolades, including being voted Top Doctor 10 times by Seattle Magazine and Seattle Metropolitan Magazine.
Dr. Lee earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Washington, graduating Magna Cum Laude and with Distinction. Remaining at the University of Washington School of Medicine, he completed his Doctor of Medicine, as well as his Residency in Internal Medicine. After residency, Dr. Lee joined Overlake Hospital’s Inpatient Internal Medicine department, a position he held for his entire career before joining MD². In addition to his direct patient care responsibilities at Overlake Hospital, he has served in numerous governance and advisory capacities to support physician advocacy efforts.
He is board certified in Internal Medicine and is an elected member of the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) Medical Honor Society.
