Dr. Shawn Lee, an Eastside native, is a board-certified internist who has earned a superlative reputation in the Bellevue medical community for his diagnostic acumen, compassionate approach to patient care and dedication to teaching and mentoring. Throughout his career he has received multiple awards and accolades, including being voted Top Doctor 11 times by Seattle Magazine and Seattle Metropolitan Magazine.
Dr. Lee earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Washington, graduating Magna Cum Laude and with Distinction. Remaining at the University of Washington School of Medicine, he completed his Doctor of Medicine, as well as his Residency in Internal Medicine. After residency, Dr. Lee joined Overlake Hospital’s Inpatient Internal Medicine department, a position he held for his entire career before joining MD2. In addition to his direct patient care responsibilities at Overlake Hospital, he has served in numerous governance and advisory capacities to support physician advocacy efforts.
He is board certified in Internal Medicine and is an elected member of the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) Medical Honor Society.
