HBJ: Concierge medicine provider MD² eyes Houston growth after success of first office

In Houston, MD² occupies about 2,500 square feet of space at 2001 Kirby Drive in River Oaks, known as the River Oak Bank Building. The local office is led by Dr. Harold Condara and Dr. Karen Baerenstecher.

MD² is a high-end, highly customized luxury brand providing concierge medicine toultra-high-net-worth clients, CEO Sean Kell told the Houston Business Journal. Each practice is led by only two doctors who each limit their practice to 50 families, compared to the 2,000 to 3,000 patients a typical primary care doctor may see in a given year.

“We operate at the very high end of the concierge medical space,” Kell said.
