Dr. Howard Rosenberg, a board-certified internist and infectious disease specialist, is admired for his diagnostic acumen, attention to detail and empathic, thoughtful approach to patient care. Regarded by his peers as an exceptional physician, he is a “doctor’s doctor,” having cared for many colleagues and their families for over two decades. In recognition of his clinical excellence, Dr. Rosenberg was elected a Fellow of the American College of Physicians and has been a Castle Connolly “Regional Top Doctor” since 2013.
He received his B.A. from Williams College and his medical degree from State University of New York Downstate Medical Center, graduating magna cum laude. While in medical school, he was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. He trained in internal medicine and infectious diseases at NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center and was Chief Medical Resident at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center.
Dr. Rosenberg is an Attending Physician and Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center. In addition, he is a Consultant in Infectious Diseases at Hospital for Special Surgery (HSS) and since 2009, the Medical Director at The Juilliard School.
