Dr. Amy Elliott, a sought-after rheumatologist and internist, is renowned for her uncompromising commitment to delivering exceptional patient care. In recognition of her superlative academic achievements and medical acumen, she has received numerous awards throughout her academic journey and medical career.
Dr. Elliott earned her Bachelor of Arts from Northwestern University and her Medical Doctorate from University of Vermont College of Medicine, where she graduated with multiple honors, including induction into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. From there, she trained in Internal Medicine at Stanford University Medical Center. Remaining at Stanford University Medical Center, Dr. Elliott completed a 3-year fellowship in Rheumatology & Immunology. During her tenure with Stanford, she has been involved in clinical Immunology research related to targeted disease treatment with novel biologic therapies for rheumatologic conditions.
Upon completing her fellowship, she began her career as a rheumatology physician at Menlo Medical Clinic. She would hold this position for over a decade before joining MD². During her tenure at Menlo Medical Clinic, Dr. Elliott was elected to an executive leadership role as the Financial Chair of the Physician Board of Directors. Next of patient care, her greatest passion is mentoring and teaching young people in math and science, and she has dedicated much of her free time to doing so.
Uniquely board-certified in both Internal Medicine and Rheumatology, Dr. Elliott is also a member of the American College of Physicians and a Fellow of the American College of Rheumatology.
