Dr. Terrelea Wong, a trusted and sought-after physician for over 20 years, is best known for her unwavering commitment to delivering compassionate, personalized care. Combined with her dedication to preventive medicine and meticulous management of chronic conditions, she has consistently been recognized and celebrated by her peers and patients alike.
After completing her undergraduate degree at Brown University, she earned her Doctorate of Medicine at Penn State College of Medicine. While in medical school, Dr. Wong was selected to participate in the American Medical Students Association's Washington Health Policy Fellowship. A San Francisco native, she returned to San Francisco to complete her internship and residency at California Pacific Medical Center. During her residency, she trained in many of UCSF's specialty departments.
After 15 years in general primary care, Dr. Wong was recruited to join UCSF's Executive Health Practice, where she could focus on helping her patients achieve their health and wellness goals. Concurrently, she fulfilled her love of teaching and mentoring doctors-in-training as a Clinical Professor of Medicine at UCSF's Division of General Internal Medicine.
While at UCSF, Dr. Wong also served as a Clinical Advisor to the Quantitative Biosciences Institute, a consortium of UCSF, UC Berkeley, and UC Santa Cruz that collaborates on projects to both deepen our understanding of biologic problems and develop new treatments.
Dr. Wong is board-certified in Internal Medicine and affiliated with UCSF Health-UCSF Medical Center.
