Dr. Peter Lefevre, a sought-after physician in Santa Monica for over 20 years, is perhaps best known for his extraordinary medical acumen, commitment to clinical care and dedication to teaching. This rare combination has earned him repeated recognition by his peers and patients alike and multiple honors including being selected as a “Super Doctor” by California Super Doctors.
After receiving his undergraduate degrees in English Literature and Molecular and Cell Biology from UC Berkeley, Dr. Lefevre went on to earn his medical degree from University of Southern California Keck School of Medicine, graduating Summa Cum Laude. While in medical school, he was inducted into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. Dr. Lefevre completed both his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at UCLA.
Upon completing his residency, he accepted an academic appointment as a clinical instructor in the Department of Medicine at UCLA. In addition to serving as a full time Internal Medicine Specialist at UCLA, for the past two decades Dr. Lefevre has also held an academic position at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA, rising to his current rank of Associate Clinical Professor in the Department of Medicine. Dr. Lefevre is board certified in Internal Medicine and a Fellow of the American College of Physicians.
