Dr. Nancy Sassower, a sought-after Chicago physician for over 20 years, is perhaps best known for her superior clinical leadership, teaching and mentoring acumen, and affable personality - a rare combination for which she has long been recognized and celebrated by her peers and patients alike.
After receiving her undergraduate degree from Emory University, Dr. Sassower went on to earn her medical degree from University of Missouri School of Medicine, graduating Magna Cum Laude and with multiple merits. While in medical school, she was inducted into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. Dr. Sassower completed her residency in Internal Medicine at McGaw Medical Center of Northwestern University.
Prior to joining MD2, Dr. Sassower was an internist at Northwestern Medical Group, where she also held numerous critical roles including Chief of the Medical Staff at Northwestern Memorial Hospital. In addition, she is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at the Feinberg School of Medicine, a position she has held for over two decades. Dr. Sassower is board certified in Internal Medicine.
