Dr. Jefferey Trunsky has been a prominent and highly-respected physician in Chicago for over 25 years. His deep appreciation of the value and importance of individualized, thorough, and patient-centered care, as well as his dedication to teaching have earned him a superlative reputation in the Chicago medical community.
He graduated with distinction from the University of Michigan, then went on to complete his medical degree with honors at Wayne State University School of Medicine, and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. After completing his internal medicine residency at Northwestern Memorial Hospital, he joined the full-time faculty in the department of General Internal Medicine at Northwestern University, where he rose to his current rank of Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine.
Dr. Trunsky, who is board certified in Internal Medicine, has served as an internist at Northwestern Medical Group for over two decades. And, as with Dr. Sassower, will remain an active member of the medical staff. In addition to his direct patient care responsibilities, he also served on numerous committees over the years.
