Dr. Harry Albers has been a prominent and highly respected physician in San Diego for over 30 years. His deep appreciation of the value and importance of individualized, thorough, and patient-centered care have earned him a superlative reputation in the San Diego medical community. He has been named a Top Doctor by San Diego magazine multiple times throughout his career.

He graduated summa cum laude as the salutatorian of his class from San Diego State University with his Bachelor of Science in biology. He then earned his Doctorate of Medicine with honors at the University of California, San Diego School of Medicine. Remaining at the University of California, San Diego Medical Center, he completed his internal medicine residency, rising to the rank of Chief Resident. After completing his residency, he joined the full-time faculty in the Department of General Internal Medicine at UCSD, where he served as assistant professor of internal medicine.

Dr. Albers, board certified in internal medicine, joined the Department of Internal Medicine at Scripps Clinic. In addition to his patient care responsibilities, he was also Scripps Rancho Bernardo's internal medicine site director and Associate VP for Quality Assurance and Continuous Quality Improvement. After a decade, he transitioned to the concierge program at Scripps, serving as an internist and the division head for almost eight years. He remained in this position until joining MD². During his esteemed career at Scripps, Dr. Albers also served on numerous committees and assumed several leadership roles. Additionally, for nearly 20 years he was the lead internal medicine physician for the San Diego Padres Major League Baseball Club.
