Dr. Christopher Pepin, a longtime Seattleite, is a board-certified internist who has earned a superlative reputation in the Seattle medical community from both patients and peers for his diagnostic acumen, his commitment to mentoring junior physicians and his empathic approach to patient care. As a result, he has received multiple awards and accolades as a Top Doctor throughout his career.
Dr. Pepin earned his undergraduate degree from the Willamette University, with a B.A. in Chemistry. He went on to earn his medical degree from the University of Washington School of Medicine, graduating with honors and multiple merits, including the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. Remaining at the University of Washington School of Medicine, he completed his Primary Care Internal Medicine Residency, earning The Layman Award, given to a first year resident for embodying ideals of compassionate care. This would begin a theme throughout his career.
After residency, he joined the POLYCLINIC as an Internist, a post he held for over two decades. In addition to his direct patient care responsibilities, he has held a number of leadership roles at the Polyclinic including Chief of Internal Medicine for seven years, Co-Chair of the Patient Experience Steering Committee and most recently, Medical Director of the Broadway Acute Respiratory Clinic, during the COVID-19 pandemic. Dr. Pepin is lauded for his compassionate style, his steadfast health advocacy and his clinical leadership. He is the quintessential doctor’s doctor.
